Hooking the application with your browsers allows it to capture the URL of the video that you are watching on web to be able to download it on your request. This is one of the ways of downloading a video. You can also create a new task and provide yourself the URL of the page displaying the video or use the drag and drop functionality by dragging the thumbnail or the title of the video or any other element containing the hyperlink to the video page to the floating icon.
