Convert Video to Flash on Mac for Online Video Presentation

 

With Moyea Flash Video MX for Mac, you can convert video to Flash, get Flash video player for output video, edit video with duration, watermark, filter effect and audio replacement. You can also choose to get sample HTML code to easily embed video to web page.

Follow this guide, and you will find it easy to get Flash video for your online presentation.

Part I. Get ready with videos
Step 1. Download and install Moyea Flash Video MX for Mac
The zip file includes both dmg files for PowerPC and Intel. Double click on the one according to your Mac computer.

 

Step 2. Run the application and choose to create project.

When you face the icon in the folder, drag and drop it to desktop for easy running in the future.
Double click on the icon, and you will face the startup window like below. Choose a project on the right, and we here choose "Create Flash Video with Player".

 

 

Note: The first option "Convert Video & Audio" is to convert file without getting additional files like snapshot file.
The second option "Create Flash Video with Player" is to convert file with player, which is convenient for you to embed video on web page.
The third option "Display Video with Playlist" is much similar to the second option, but only one player will be generated and the videos will be added as playlist items.

 

Step 3. Import video.
Click the button to browse video and audio file. This Mac flash video encoder supports various formats like AVI, WMV, MOV, MP4, MKV, VOB and so on.
You can also choose File > Add Video from the Menu Bar to import video.

 

 

Step 4. Specify output file name.
Use the original file name as default for the output file, or right click on the file on the list to change file name.
Note: The title name is for the project with playlist, which will display under on the player for you to identify each item.

 

 

Part II. Edit video with duration, watermark, and filter effect   (Top »)
The video editing options are available after you click the Editor button . You can customize your video clip or leave it as the original source. I would recommend you to add watermark at least.

Step 1. Trim video.
You can trim video duration by entering time point to set start time box and set end time box. You can also click the  button to set start time when it plays to the frame you want the clip to start from.

 

 

Step 2. Cut off unwanted border with cropping.
Click the Crop button and you can choose the content to display on output file. You can refer to the preview window for the output content.

 

 

Step 3. Add watermark to video.
There are two tabs about watermark adding, image/video watermark and text watermark.

 

 

Click the Image/Video Watermark button, and check the box for Enable. You can then add company logo as brand advertising or video as demonstration like the sign language for deaf people who would watch your video.
Click the Text Watermark button, and check the box for Enable. You can add character string to display on the video.

 

Step 4. Add filter effect to video.
You can add video effect to video to make your video like aged film, or with other effects like simple gauss blur. Adjust the video brightness and contrast; deinterlace the video for better display online.

 

 

Step 5. Replace audio.
If you are not satisfied with the original audio, you can change the audio and replace music for the video after clicking the Replace Audio button.

 

 

Part III. Specify output settings for Flash video encoding   (Top »)
Click the Output Settings button and you can face the interface below:

 

 

Step 1. Set video codec and parameter settings for video and audio.
You can choose Sorenson H.263, H.264 and F4V as video codec for the output Flash video. The bit rate, frame rate will also matters for the output video quality and video size.

 

Step 2. Choose output file format.
As we chose to create flash video with player, we can check the box for generating SWF, FLV, Snapshot JPG, HTML. The HTML file will include the sample code for embedding video to web page, so as to simplify your website building.

 

Part IV. Choose player skin and control video playback   (Top »)
The Player Settings button is activated as we chose to create flash video with player. It is also activated when we choose the project to display video with playlist in the startup window.
Step 1. Enable player skin.
Make sure the checkbox for No skin is unchecked, if you want to get the control bar with play button, volume control, etc.

 

Step 2. Choose the player skin that display with your video.
There are four groups of player skin for you to choose according to your video. Click on a player skin and you can preview the effect on the right window.

 

 

Step 3. Control video playback and player display.
Click the Profile button and you can specify the settings for the player. You can choose not to load video until the play button is clicked, so as to reduce the page loading time for the web page with video. You may also set the player to hide when there is no mouse movement on the player.

 

 

Step 4. Add preloader or special effect.
Click the Preloader button and you can choose the preloader for your player. It is convenient for visitors to know that your video is loading, instead of showing the video freezing at particular frame without any notice. The special effect is selective to get a better vision of your video.

 

Part V. Convert and embed video to web page   (Top »)
When almost all settings are ready, you can click the Converter button. Have no idea where the output file will locate? Go to the Menu Bar for Flash Video MX and choose Preference from the sub-menu. You will find the option to change the folder of the conversion file.
Well, let's start conversion.
Click the Start button after clicking the Converter button, and the application starts encoding Flash file.

 

 

After conversion is finished, you the output folder will pop up and you will face HTML. Get the source code and embed video to your own page.
