Just used Flash Video MX Pro for the 1st time. It is very easy, but I have one problem... the audio and video are not in sync. I converted a DVD to SWF. How can I fix this?
Also, the video doesn't display on Firefox, just IE. Why not... ideas? |

Hi,
Thanks for your feedback.
As to your question,
1. we guess there are 4 reasons:
1, the video bit rate and frame rate are too high, and the audio bit rate is too low (also happened in the opposite situation). We suggest you to lower your video bit rate and frame rate, and higher the audio bit rate (or higher your video bit rate and frame rate and lower the audio bit rate in the opposite situation).
2, old codec, the old codec will cause problem of certain key frames. We suggest you to update your codec version. Download proper codec from here: http://www.video-to-flash.com/video_to_flash/welcometo_mxpro.php?pc=Flash+Video+MX+Pro+5&affid
3, certain players (as mobile phone, MP4) have limit ability to treat videos, or some players have the different codec methods with the videos.
4, There is no limitation when you check “Progressive download from a web server”
The flash will be limited to 16000 frames when you check “Embed the video in SWF and play in timeline” or “Embed the video in
SWF and play in timeline (no script)”.
The size varies with bit rate.
If the file is quite large, we recommend you choose “Progressive download from a web server”.
2. Please make sure that you installed the latest Adobe Flash Player on your Firefox. _________________ “FLV Editor” “Video to Flash” “Moyea PlayerBox” |

Audio & Video out of sync can be caused by lots reasons, like variable frame rate, audio gap, bad video & audio frame timestamp, buggy player etc.
Flash Video MX Pro 6.0 will handle it out by using the same technology adopted by FLV to Video 2.0 _________________ Bob was here

| I have used FlashMX Pro from version 4 and never had problems with the audio and video being out of sync. I just upgraded to the newest version 6 build 1149 and all the videos produced by it are out of sync. I uninstalled build 1149 and re-installed build 1146 and now all the videos are perfect again. There seems to be a problem with sync in 1149. |
