How to install plug-in to preferred Adobe Premiere versions?

Follow the steps below and you will install plugin to Adobe Premiere with your preferences.

1. Download Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere and double-click to run the setup wizard.

2. Confirm the program name with version.
You will face the first introduction about installing Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere. Click the Next button after confirming the plug-in version.
It is recommended that you exist Adobe Premiere Pro, so that you can enjoy the flexibility with the import plug-in.

3. Choose the version of Adobe Premiere Pro to work with the plug-in.
Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere automatically detects the versions of Adobe Premiere on your machine, so that you can choose the versions to install the plug-in. You can also specify the version of Adobe Premiere to work with the plug-in.

Please note that you shall install Adobe Premiere before installing the plug-in.

If you have two versions of Adobe Premiere Pro installed, the import plug-in will list two versions with checkbox in front of the version name. You can check the box and click Next button to install the plugin. When only one version is listed, you can install the plug-in by checking the box for the listed version. If the version you prefer is not on the list, you can specify the version of your Adobe Premiere with the following steps.

Step 1. Browse the plug-in folder of your Adobe Premiere, which is used by Adobe Premiere to locate related plug-in files.
Step 2. Browse the installation folder of your Adobe Premiere. The default installation folder of Adobe Premiere is in the folder like "system disk:\Program Files\Adobe\version name". Suppose that your Premiere version is Pro 1.0 and the system disk is C, with the default installation, you will get the installation folder at C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere Pro\

Generally speaking, the plug-in folder is in the language folder of the Plug-ins folder under installation folder.
However, some versions may include language folders for plug-in. For example, if there is a folder for English, you may find Plug-ins under the installation folder, and en_US in the Plug-ins folder.
If the version is Adobe Premiere Pro CS3, the plug-in folder is within "system disk:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS3\MediaCore".
If the version is Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, the plug-in folder is within "system disk:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS4\MediaCore".

If you still can not find the plug-in folder for your Adobe Premiere, have a look at your Registry Editor. Choose Start > Run, and enter "regedit" to open the Registry Editor. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\ and click on the version of Adobe Premiere. Then click CurrentVersion and you will find the name Plug-InsDir. The folder path is displayed in the data value column. Click on Plug-InsDir and you can copy the folder path.

4. Read EULA and decide to agree or not.
After clicking the Next button in the window with Adobe Premiere version, you will face the end user license agreement. Click to agree with the agreement and the Next button will be activated.

5. Specify the folder to install the plug-in.
The related files will be added to the installation folder. Click the Next button when the folder is OK for you.

6. Confirm the installation and start installing by clicking the Install button.
The setup wizard then installs Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere to the versions you choose.

If you install another version of Adobe Premiere after installing Moyea Importer for Adobe Premiere, you can install the plug-in again following the steps above. Remember to check for the previous version of Adobe Premiere together with the new version. Alternatively, just follow the steps below for the new Adobe Premiere on your computer.

Step 1. Find the files: mglobal.dll and reglib.dll under the installation folder of the plug-in. Copy and paste to the installation folder of the new Adobe Premiere version.

Step 2. Find the file MoyeaImporter.prm under the installation folder of the plug-in. Copy and paste to the Plug-in folder of the new Adobe Premiere version.

Step 3. (Only to Premiere CS4 users with Adobe Encore CS4 on machine) Copy the files mglobal.dll and reglib.dll to the folder of Adobe Encore CS4. By default, Adobe Encore CS4 is installed together with Premiere CS4. If you customize the installation of Premiere CS4 without Adobe Encore CS4, you can skip this step. To find the folder of Adobe Encore CS4, just choose Start > All Programs > Adobe Encore CS4, right click on the item "Adobe Encore CS4" and choose Properties. Click Find Target button and you will be directed to the folder of Adobe Encore CS4.
