How to Use FLV Editor Pro

No doubt, FLV Editor Pro is a great improvement. It is not a simple FLV converter, but a good FLV editor. Compared with any other similar FLV tools, FLV Editor Pro owns its highlights like sequence, resource manager, edit station and project files’ saving. With these new features, you can enjoy a fast FLV edit and conversion experience.

    • Now, let us appreciate its special main interface first below:

    • This main interface is divided into five parts. That is Resource manager, Sequence list, Edit station, main menu and its tool bar which do not mark. This tool features by these five parts and will allow you enjoy a powerful editing and conversion experience.

    • Step 1: Start the program to import
    Run the program FLV Editor Pro, and import the FLV you want to convert. (Note: If you ever saved its project file, just click “File>Open…” to continue your edit.)

    • You can also choose to import the file by drag the FLV from the resource manager to the sequence list. Just like the picture shows below.

    • My Computer: Click to quickly open my computer folder and you will see the hard disk drives and other documents. It is easily for you to locate the drives and folders of the setting project and select the files.
    Downloaded FLV: The folder links to the Moyea FLV downloader. That is to say, when you use Moyea FLV downloader to download FLV files, it will be automatically saved in this folder.
    IE Cache: If you click to import from IE Cache, you may find the FLV files from "Temporary Internet Files" folder.
    Imported: Click this folder and you will see all the files you have already imported into the program from your computer.
    Trash: Just like the Recycle Bin in your computer, you may find the deleted sequences or clips there.
    At the bottom of this field, you may see a small preview window there which enables you preview the original FLV file you have selected in these area before importing them. Double click a file from these folders to preview the file at the bottom preview panel.

    • Note:
    Right click on the resource manager; a menu with the following options will pop up:
    Refresh: Refresh this folder to show the changes of this folder or file.
    Browse: Click to open the directory with the selected file or folder.
    Delete: Delete the selected object.
    Clear: Clear the objects under this catalogue.

    • Step 2: Merge FLV clips and add sequence summary for your special use.

    After you drag the FLVs to the Sequence list, you can combine them into one sequence. Just follow the instructions blow.

    • Step 3: Edit your FLV clips in the Edit Station.

    After you confirm the sequence list, it is time for you to edit your FLV clips in the Edit Station. If you like, you can preview your FLV info under the Preview section.

    • Then, you can crop and trim the FLV clip now. This program allows you crop and trim the clip to any frame rather than just key frame, which make your edit more accurate.

    • What’s more, watermark function is amazing that you can add image and text, regardless of its number and place. That is to say, you can add several images as your watermark for special use, as well as text.

    • Note: you can preview, adjust image and text’s place according to your need.

    • Add special effect.
    Special effect like BlackAndWhite, InvertColor, Purple, Spooky, Mirror, etc will make your FLV different from others. Moreover, the flip effect will also add amusement.

    • Step 4: Export

    After you finished the editing, you can choose the output format for conversion.
    Just click “Export” and then choose the output format you want in the submenu.

    • After choose the output format, like AVI MS MPEG 4(Windows PC) show above, you can also adjust some parameters, such as video size, bit rate, audio sample rate etc.

    • Step 5: Conversion
    Finished the output setting, you can click button “ok” to begin your conversion.

    Note: you can let the program to 1) Do nothing, 2) open output folder, 3) shut down the computer for you after conversion in the convert window.

    • The program will tell you the good news after the conversion is completed. Just enjoy your created special video or share with anyone you like.
